Ombre

Spring is here!! (sort of) And as the seasons change, so does my hair color.  Yes, I'm one of those crazy women who dyes her hair different colors throughout the year. 

This spring I'm rockin' the style trend called Ombre hair!  You've all seen it, but may not have known what it was called.  This is the look MANY celebrities are sporting. 

The point of the Ombre look is for the roots of your hair to remain dark (or light), while the ends gradually fade to a different color.   You can start with ANY color of hair!!! 

 Pro's

• Not as much "up keep" as normal foils or highlights.  Your roots are supposed to be darker for Ombre hair so you can go longer in between colors.
• It isn't as much of a commitment as a full color or full highlight. 
• Ombre hair can look natural OR more dramatic.
• You can experiment with "crazy" colors on the ends (without damaging all of your hair)!!!

         Con's

• Wouldn't work great for someone wanting platinum blonde hair.  Since the look is meant to have darker roots, blondes may opt out.
• I have noticed that the ends of the hair can look dry and damaged....but that will depend on the integrity of the person's hair to begin with. 

Definitely keep THIS look in mind for Spring and Summer!
